Eline de Rijk is a researcher at the Royal Kentalis Academy, where she investigates mental health among deaf and hard of hearing adults. She has a background in psychology and obtained her PhD focusing on predictors and long term effects of mental health problems. Within the DRIVEN program, her research focuses on systematically mapping the possibilities for developing and evaluating an e-health intervention for deaf and hard of hearing adults with mental health problems. Through a structured review of the literature, she examines the current state of psychosocial care and existing e-health approaches, and combines this with insights from scientific evidence and clinical practice. The aim of this work is to translate these insights into a concrete and applicable protocol for the development of an e health intervention for deaf and hard of hearing adults.
