Olivia Andrews

Olivia is a junior researcher at the Department of Clinical Neuro- and Developmental Psychology of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands. With a background in quantitative psychology, her research focuses on the labour market participation of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and people with developmental language disorders in the Netherlands. By leveraging CBS microdata and building a longitudinal register, she examines trends in a variety of employment characteristics to better understand patterns and inequalities. Using robust, reproducible analytical approaches, she aims to generate insights that can be tracked over time and reused for future research. Within Driven, her goal is to provide an evidence base that supports policies and interventions aimed at improving labour market access and fostering long-term inclusion for people who are deaf and hard-of-hearing or have developmental language disorders.
